Not the best stamp in the world, but I couldn't find any DECENT Bowling for Soup stamps so I decided to make one myself.
Fairly simple, just their logo ("The Fabulous Bowling for Soup") slapped onto the stamp, nothing more. It actually took me about two hours to find a pic of their logo and, in fact, I actually had to resort to screen capping it from a youtube vid, because I couldn't find a regular ol' pic ANYWHERE. *sigh* And for those of you who don't know, Bowling for Soup is a band - the best band on the planet (tied with Switchfoot) - who are just... awesome. There's no other word for them. They're the type of band who's kind of popular and unpopular at the same time. When I first heard of them all I could think was "A band named Bowling for Soup? Yeah, right. They're gonna be crap." And then one day I heard their song High School Never Ends and I fell in love and went out the next day and got their CD ("The Great Burrito Extortion Case") and I was hooked. They have this uncanny knack to be ridiculously funny and dead serious at the same time (99 Biker Friends is great example of this ability), and I would be lying if I said a few of their songs didn't have me sobbing by the end (whether from laughter or intense emotion). Granted, they have some songs that I'm not crazy about, but every song ever made appeals to one person where another it doesn't. Bottom line: if you haven't listened to any of their songs, give them a chance. They're worth it.
